About Early Action Therapy
At Early Action Therapy, we are proud to offer a speech pathology service led by Joanna Fyffe, a highly experienced speech pathologist with a deep passion for helping people reach their full communication potential. With a wealth of knowledge and expertise, Joanna has worked with individuals across a range of ages and abilities, from newborns to adults.
Joanna is highly trained in feeding therapy, a crucial aspect of speech pathology that helps support babies and children with feeding difficulties. She has significant experience working with babies, providing early intervention that can make a lifelong impact. Her specialised skills in Cerebral Palsy and other disability-related speech and feeding issues allow her to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, helping them overcome barriers to communication, swallowing, and eating.
In addition to her hands-on experience, Joanna is trained in VitalStim Therapy, a technique used to treat swallowing disorders by stimulating muscles to aid in strengthening and improving swallowing function.
Joanna’s compassionate, patient-centered and evidence-based approach ensures that each individual receives the best possible care. She works closely with families and caregivers to create a supportive, inclusive environment where clients feel understood and empowered to make progress.
Whether you're seeking help for a newborn with feeding difficulties, a child with speech delays, or an adult with swallowing challenges, Joanna’s extensive experience and training allow her to support clients at every stage of life.
